In the past 20 years, the share of all jobs that require at least some college has risen from 28% to more than 60%. The median annual earnings of a worker with a high school education is $28,807 while those with at least an associate’s degree earn $35,389. And those with a bachelor’s degree earn almost twice the median income of a high school graduate.
