Go forth and lead Eloquently delivered messages of inspiration, powerful reminders of the challenges and responsibilities of leadership, a tribute of poem and song. These are the things of which the Clermont 20/20 Leadership Institute Commencement Ceremonies were made. Fifty-five community leaders, dedicated to improving the quality of life in Clermont County, were inducted into the Clermont 20/20 Leadership Network of Graduates. These graduates of the LEAD Clermont Program, Senior Leadership Program and Educational Leadership Program join 629 individuals, who have graduated from the Clermont Leadership Institute since the programs began in 1993, in making an ongoing commitment to the leadership of Clermont County. The following individuals were recognized in the celebration Thursday evening, July 17, at the Eastgate Holiday Inn:
In addition to honoring the graduates of 2003, the inaugural class of leaders, the graduates of 1993 were recognized on the tenth anniversary of their graduation from the Clermont Leadership Institute. Those class members include Helen Armstrong, Roger Barry, Julie Bristow, Greg Crowell, Chris Dugle, Bob Harlow, Carl Hartman, Judy Hearn, Paul Hiltz, Len Koogler, Dave Lawhon, John Melvin, Jim Meyer, Tom Neihaus, Jean Schmidt, Dave Spinney, Bob Whitman and Page Williams. Leadership programs of the Leadership Institute of Clermont 20/20 are directed toward individuals who demonstrate leadership qualities, and provide participants the opportunity to better understand our county and community, and prepare for the challenges the community faces by meeting with and learning from today’s leaders.
