As you are aware, Clermont 2001, Inc. is now Clermont 20/20, Inc.: A Vision for Leadership.
The last year has been one of growth and development.
- We are celebrating the eleventh “Salute to Leaders” event and Annual Meeting for
Clermont 20/20, Inc. on Thursday, February 26 where we honor individuals and organizations
from each of the 14 townships, the City of Milford, and nine county-wide awards.
- The Clean ‘n Green effort continues to grow. In 2003, a record number of volunteers
were involved in both the clean-up and other recycling and litter prevention activities.
This effort is recognized, statewide, as a successful beautification and lifter prevention
effort.
- The Education Task Force is the driving force behind a shared community vision in
Clermont County and was a catalyst for the creation of a collaboration to assist young
Clermont residents in pursuing higher education through the Clermont Educational Opportunities
Program. In addition, a mentoring program comprised primarily of leadership program graduates
has been implemented at Williamsburg High School to complement the Glen Este project and work
with students at-risk of dropping out of high school. We are also providing coordination of
activities for eighth grade students at Williamsburg Middle School to assist in their
Individual Career Plan (ICP) process.
- The Community Development Center with its staff Community Development Specialist has made
great strides in developing and implementing grassroots community organizing and community
development efforts in both Felicity/Franklin and Washington Township communities.
The Clermont 20/20 Leadership Institute:
- Celebrated the 10th anniversary class graduating from LEAD Clermont. Also, we graduated:
- the eighth Look to Clermont Youth Leadership class;
- the eighth Educational Leadership class;
- the seventh Senior Leadership class; and
- The First Impressions Orientation Program for newly relocated and newly promoted
executives and professionals in Clermont County will, once again, be offered in a series
beginning in March of this year.
It is now time to join or to renew your personal membership with Clermont 20/20, Inc.
We are only able to accomplish our mission of bringing people and organizations together
to improve the quality of life in Clermont County through your continuing support. We hope
you will send your membership today... Your support of these programs costs only $30.00.
Remember to use Clermont 20/20, Inc. as a resource as you continue your leadership efforts
