Clermont 20/20 Executive Director Transition   With reluctance, but best wishes as well, the Clermont 20/20 Board of Directors announces the departure of Andy McCreanor, Executive Director of Clermont 20/20. Mr. McCreanor has accepted a new leadership position as the Executive Director of Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati. ESCC is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality consultative services, resources, and mentoring for non-profit organizations throughout the tri-state area.   Mr. McCreanor has provided exemplary guidance, direction, and leadership for the past 18 months to Clermont 20/20, a Clermont County based organization engaged and committed to leadership development, community development / growth, and the establishment of educational networks to improve and enhance skills for greater employment opportunities for all our citizens. He will continue to assist the Clermont 20/20 organization as he transitions into his new role with Executive Service Corps .    Clermont 20/20 recently celebrated its 20th anniversary. It serves as a valuable forum for bringing people together in a teambuilding concept and neutral platform to improve the quality of life in Clermont County. Clermont 20/20 provides several successful signature programs for the benefit of Clermont County including LEAD Clermont, LOOK to Clermont, Clermont Educational Opportunities, Clean & Green, and the county wide annual Salute to Leaders volunteer recognition event.       To replace McCreanor, the Clermont 20/20 Board of Directors is excited to announce the appointment of Chris Smith as interim executive director of Clermont 20/20 effective May 24, 2010. Smith brings four decades of business experience to this position. This includes 20 years in the commercial banking business, eight years as president of a community banking organization. Chris spent a decade in the commercial real estate development business managing and leasing a large institutionally owned real estate portfolio. Chris also has public sector experience having served several years in an economic development position for both Clermont County and the State of Ohio during the administration of Governor Bob Taft. For the past 3 years Chris has been associated with a small venture capital company specializing in entrepreneurial acquisition and turn-a-round transactions.   In making the announcement, Eric Grothaus, Chair of Clermont 20/20, said "We appreciate the work Andy contributed to our organization during his tenure and are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Smith as the interim director.  We are confident that Chris's experience will assure the continuation of the organization's outstanding service to the Clermont County community."
