  1. CultureFest
    The final project of the LEAD Clermont Class of 2003 is here. Billy Durel, Leslie Massey, John McManus and Berta Velilla proudly present CultureFest. CultureFest, a family-oriented festival of music, dance, crafts educational exhibits, children's activities and food, celebrating the rich cultural diversity in Clermont County, is happening on Saturday, October 11, 2003 from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at UC Clermont College in Batavia. A schedule of events and performers associated with CultureFest is available. Volunteers are still needed for CultureFest. If you would be interested in volunteering for this event, please email Cyn Macke or call her at 513-753-9222.
     
  2. Program Endorsement
    What would you tell someone about your participation in The Leadership Institute Programs? You are invited to share your thoughts with us and have your name accompany any printed endorsement of Senior Leadership, LEAD Clermont, Educational Leadership or Look to Clermont. Specifically, these endorsements will be used in promotional brochures. Complete our web form to submit your endorsement.
     
  3. Join the Graduate Speaker's Bureau
    Continue your involvement with the Leadership Institute by becoming a member of the newly forming Graduate Speaker's Bureau. Leadership Institute graduates Leslie Massey, Tina Mills, Gene Bishop and Chris Zimmerman are working together to develop this team, which will be made up of graduates of all four leadership programs, Senior Leadership, LEAD Clermont, Educational Leadership and Look to Clermont. The Speaker's Bureau will help increase awareness of Institute programs in the community. Do you know of a group to whom we could speak? Would you like to be one of our graduate speakers?   4. Look to Clermont
    Look to Clermont students called on their leadership skills of communication and problem solving as they shared in their first class experience at Boy Scout Camp Friedlander. Students also brainstormed ideas for projects that will enable them contribute to improving the quality of life in Clermont County. See some pictures of their adventures.
     
  5. Senior Leadership
    Senior Leadership class members shared in a day of getting to know each other, learn each other's strengths and begin to build a sense of team. On a beautiful day at Pattison Park, they were lead through a series of enjoyable activities by Butch Losey, Child Focus Education & Training Coordinator and Tara Dawson, Lead Clermont Graduate.   6. Christmas Open House
    Mark your calendars for the Clermont 20/20 Christmas Open House. The open house will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2003. More information on this event to be sent in the near future.
     
  7. Salute To Leaders
    Save the date for the annual Salute to Leaders Banquet that will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2004. This event will take place at Holiday Inn Eastgate. For more information please visit our Salute to Leaders announcement.

    It is never to early to nominate an individual or organization for these awards. New this year, you can receive nomination forms via the web.

  8. Attention Leadership Institute Graduates
    Senior Leadership, LEAD Clermont and Look to Clermont are in full swing. Graduates are always welcome to drop in on any of the class days, so please check the web site for class schedules and let me know if you plan to join us. If your schedule did not allow you to attend all of your class days, think about joining us for that day. If you would like to see what one of the other programs, for example if you are a LEAD graduate and you would like to visit the Look to Clermont class, please do.
     
  9. Mercy Hospital Clermont 30th Anniversary
    Mercy Hospital Clermont is having 30 days of celebration leading up to the hospital's 30th Anniversary. The events will kick off on October 4, 2003 with the Heart Walk and will end with a November 5, 2003 prayer service and blessing of the newly renovated surgical/outpatient area.
