  1. Need for Mentors
    Volunteers Needed. Make a commitment of an hour a week to support youth in our community. As a LEAD Clermont Class of 2002 member, Debbie Siegroth developed a mentoring program that has been very successful in Glen Este High School. This program is now expanding into Amelia and Williamsburg High Schools and has exciting potential for impact on support young people who may not otherwise graduate from high school. Senior Leadership, LEAD Clermont and Educational Leadership grads are encouraged to support this worthwhile effort. Learn more about this program, and the volunteer description.
     
  2. Food Pantry
    It is that time of the year again where local Food Pantries are in need of food donations for the holidays. Each year the Pantries hand out hundreds of holiday meals along with other food needs to families that cannot afford to purchase the food themselves. Here are a few local pantries in need of food donations:

    YWCA of Greater Cincinnati

    Please check your local listing for a food pantry in your neighborhood.
     
  3. Christmas Open House
    Mark your calendars for the Clermont 20/20 Holiday Open House. The open house will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2003. The cost for to attend the event is $15.00. Hors d'oeuvres, soda, wine, beer and coffee. will be provided.
     
  4. Clermont County Happenings
    A local group called the Clermont County Public Relations has formed a printed calendar along with a website link to all of the Clermont County happenings. To check out what is going on in your neighborhood or to look for some holiday events please take a look at the groups Calendar.
     
  5. Bell Ringers Needed
    The Salvation Army needs your help as a volunteer for their Kettle Effort this Christmas Season. Even one day can help to support others in need. Kettle locations include the Amelia Kroger, Cherry Grove Kroger, Eastgate Mall JC Penney, Eastgate Kroger, Eastgate Sam's Club, Eastgate Mall Sears, Eastgate Wal-Mart, Loveland Kroger, Milford K-Mart, Milford Kroger, Milford Target and Mulberry Kroger.
