  4. Senior Leadership Grad Bestowed High Honor
Each year, each of the 32 NFL football teams selects a hometown person to be their Community Quarterback Award recipient based on their community involvement and volunteerism. This year, the Cincinnati Bengals have chosen..... (drum roll please!) .... TOM WILDEY FROM THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF CLERMONT COUNTY as their NFL Community Quarterback!!

Tom will receive his award at the December 28th Bengals/Browns game and the Club will receive at the same time a $10,000 donation from the Bengals!

In the nomination submitted by Nancy Beck, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Clermont County, she shared "Thomas A. Wildey, Jr. is a man who has spent most of his life reaching out to others. He has played a leadership role in almost every significant new initiative in the New Richmond community that has been introduced over the past 20 years. He has made a difference in the lives of hundreds of adults and children, families and friends, touching lives one by one."

Tom is a graduate of the Senior Leadership Class of 2000. Congratulations to a fine community leader and to the Boys and Girls Club of Clermont County!

  5. Helping Children whose Lives have been Affected by Cancer
If you are looking for a way to make a difference in the life of a child who has been affected by cancer, the LEAD Clermont Class of 2004 has a wonderful suggestion. One of the many outstanding class projects this year is bringing together a group of leaders to create a day camp for children whose lives have been touched by cancer. The purpose of the camp is to provide children a safe place to express their feelings about cancer, while having fun. To become involved in this unique team of leaders, please plan to attend an informational meeting on January 27, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. at Mercy Clermont Hospital. Questions? Contact Cyn Macke at leadershipinstitute@clermont2020.org.
