- The Fourth Annual Leadership Day
Time is running out for you to reserve you spot to the fourth annual leadership day.
Clermont 20/20, Inc. and the LEAD Clermont Class of 2004 are delighted to invite the
Clermont and Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky community to "Serve to Lead"
Leadership Day, Thursday, May 13, 2004. The core theme of this leadership development
experience is "Servant Leadership."
A practical philosophy and model, which supports people who choose to serve first,
Servant Leadership represents a way of expanding service to individuals and institutions.
Servant Leadership is based on the writings of Robert Greeneleaf and is headquartered
at the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership in Indianapolis, Indiana. This
not-for-profit center provides dissemination of the servant leadership philosophy
throughout the world.
The day promises to provide those attending with useful,
life-changing concepts and tools. For more information on this exciting

- Annual Clermont 20/20 Golf Scramble
Clermont 20/20 will host it's annual golf scramble on Monday, June 21, 2004 at the
beautiful Legendary Run Golf Course in Pierce Township. Golfers this year will be
treated to lunch by Charlie Baz'L's Bar & Grille located in Milford, four drink
tickets, great golf fun with the opportunity to win many prizes on and off the
golf course, followed by dinner that is also provided by Charlie Baz'L's Bar &
Grille. Reservations for foursomes are now being accepted. For more information

- Standing Together
Make a Friend – Be a Friend by volunteering on June 19 at the joint LEAD
Clermont/Look to Clermont "Standing Together" one-day camp for children ages
6 to 12 whose lives have been impacted by cancer.

- Cincinnati Nature Center
"Run, Walk and Roll Day"
Plan to attend "Run, Walk and Roll Day" at East Fork State Park. This FREE event,
sponsored by Cinergy, will appeal to outdoor enthusiasts of all sorts. Runners,
walkers, hikers, naturalists, rollerbladers, bikers and others will find plenty
to capture their interest. From 11:00 to 3:00 on Saturday June 5th, Run, Walk
and Roll Day will highlight the various sports and outdoor activities that
visitors will be able to enjoy along the Williamsburg/Batavia multi use trail
once it is complete. Live animal demonstrations by the Cincinnati Zoo, bicycle
safety demonstrations, naturalist led hikes, a sanctioned Volksmarch walk-a-thon,
with presentations by the Shawnee Indians, Steve Newman - World Walker, Rick
Crawford, and area elected officials, are all part of the planned day's activities.
When completed, this trail will benefit the entire County in a multitude of ways.
By making use of one of Clermont County's most significant natural resources, East
Fork State Park, this trail will provide:
- Recreational opportunities for citizens
- Historical landmark identification and education
- Conservation opportunities in association with East Fork State Park
- Educational benefits through botanical, biology and science applications.
- Enhanced image for Clermont showcasing our region's assets
- Community development impact of pride, promotion and visitors
- Economic development supporting business, business retention and attraction.

- American Heart Walk
Save the date of October 2, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. for this years American Heart Walk.
This walk is to help raise funds for heart disease and stroke awareness. The
Heart Association is currently looking for Team Leaders and volunteers, for more
