  3. Leadership Day a First Class Event
Thanks to our planning team, our sponsors and our speakers, the 5th Annual Leadership Day was a great success. We thank LEAD Clermont Class members Scott Boone, Robin Casada, India Davis and Mike Mantel, graduate advisors Ken Gee, Marilou Coldeway, Joyce Richardson and seasoned Leadership Day planners Sandy Bradford, Glenda Neff, Patricia Pryor, Tina Mills and Debbie Lantman for a First Class Event. Your work enabled us to inform and motivate our audience of 140 individuals from the Clermont County and Greater Cincinnati community with an outstanding program on Leadership through Adversity.

Coach Marvin Lewis opened the day sharing three key points of Leadership through Adversity, hard work, fundamentals and passion. Alicia Reece, inspired us with her steps to Leading through Adversity: creating a vision, putting that vision into action and celebrating results.

In addition to Coach Lewis and Vice Mayor Reece, we were fortunate to have exceptional speakers Brian Bertke, Tsunami Relief Coordinator and Executive Director for Matthew: 25 Ministries, Dr. Frank Wright, Forensic Dentist Consultant, Professor Ed Bridgeman, UC Criminal Justice Department, and Joe Nuxhall, Cincinnati Reds Broadcast Legend and Former Pitcher present informative and inspiring breakout sessions.

The day also provided networking opportunities, and created more of an awareness of the Leadership Institute of Clermont 20/20.
