  2. Best Class Contest

The Best Class Contest is in the final weeks. The Lead Class of 1994 is the current leader for the Best Class title with total individual membership contributions of $300.80! In second position is the Lead Class of 1996 ($185) with the Lead Class of 1999 nipping closely at their heels ($160.40). Please see the chart for current class contributors and contributions.

There is still time to provide the "leadership" your class needs to get as many alumni as possible to help boost your class up and over "the wall" to claim the title of "Best Class for 2006!" Please know that one third of your contribution goes directly to the Leadership Institute to assist in programming. The remaining 2/3 is used by the organization to support/sustain/grow the wonderful work that Clermont 20/20, Inc. is known for.

This contest is in its second year. We will announce the bragging rights at the Lead Graduation Ceremonies on July 13th. You have until July 12th to get your dollars in to count for the competition. We will also be recognizing the class with the highest percentage of participation. More is better! More dollars and more people participating at whatever level they can! If you need a roster of alumni for your class, look on our web site starting at the Leadership Development Programs page; select your program (e.g., LEAD Clermont), followed by the Class Members link, and then pick your year from the pull-down near the top. Or, you can contact Rosalie Hardesty at 513-753-9222.

You can pay your membership online with a credit card on our web site at Individual Membership Registration or mail your check to: Clermont 20/20, 119 W Main Street, Amelia, OH 45102.

May the very "Best Class" win!

  3. Nominations for Senior Leadership

Do you know of a retired or semi-retired person who enjoys lively discussions about important community issues and meeting with other interesting adults and learning new things? Here is the perfect program to challenge their energy and enthusiasm. Tell them about Clermont 20/20's Senior Leadership Program. It is interesting, informative, educational and enjoyable! Since 1996, Senior Leadership has provided this forum for retired and semi-retired individuals who live or worked in Clermont County to come together to increase their awareness of community issues and community challenges, and become further involved in making a difference in our community. The first program of its kind in Ohio and the second in the country, Senior Leadership meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month, from 8:30 am - 12:00 noon, from September through May.

Here is what a few of our Senior Leaders have to say about the class:

    • "It is amazing how much the 20/20 Senior Leadership Program has taught me about the county where I have lived for 27 years."
    • "This is a stimulating program for the 'retired' among us to learn about, become enthusiastic about, do something about and join in discussion about happenings and issues in our county."
    • "Great continuing education and an excellent way to 're-enter' the community after a career in the workforce."

Nominations are being accepted for the Senior Leadership Class of 2007 through July 15. To make a nomination or apply for the program, visit our web site at www.clermont2020.org/cli/senior/.

  4. Educational Leadership Project Presentations

Members of the Educational Leadership Class of 2006 will present their projects on Thursday, July 13 at 3:00 p.m. at the Eastgate Holiday Inn. They will finish in time for the graduation program for the Educational Leadership, Senior Leadership and LEAD Clermont classes of 2006. All program graduates are welcome to join us.

  5. Thank You Graduates

The Leadership Development Programs could not accomplish what they do without the help of the many graduates who serve on the advisory committees, as class day planners, speakers, class day hosts and project advisors. Thank you to everyone who gives of their time to keep the programs strong!
