Reality Store Field Trip
  Tuesday, May 8, 2007

Clermont County High School students that are involved in the Clermont 20/20 Mentoring Program will be participating in a Reality Store Field Trip Tuesday May 8, 2007 at UC Clermont College. The purpose of this activity is to promote postsecondary education by providing an interactive financial simulation of a life scenario. The Reality Store Experience assists students in making responsible budgetary decisions involving housing, transportation, entertainment, repayment of loans, tax payments, grocery purchases, etc. The bottom line is that the students quickly realize that the careers requiring the college degree and the comparable salary for that career will provide them with more choices for a better quality of life.

We are seeking volunteers who are ready to give something back to our community through mentoring our youth. Giving students positive role models and encouraging them to reach their goals is a service we, as mentors and citizens of the community, are obligated to give to our youth.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering as a mentor please contact Terri Rechtin at 513-753-9525 (office), 513673-3334 (cell) or by email at: mentor@clermont2020.org.
