The Clean and Green Collaborative would like to thank all of our sponsors and volunteers for making the 2005 Clean and Green Community Litter Pick-up a great success! Even though the weather was a continual factor, the community involvement was impressive! The following businesses helped to make this event happen: Clermont County Commissioners, Clermont 20/20, Inc., Meijer, A&A Safety, 3M, Gallenstein and Co, Inc., Kroger, Chiquita, Klostermans Bakery, Keebler, Starbucks, Biggs, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, Avalanche Ice, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, Springdale Ice Cream and Beverage, Royal Family Fitness, and UDF.

Clermont 20/20 Clean and Green was awarded a $3000 grant to implement the first Clermont 20/20 Master Recycler Composter course in Clermont County! This program provides up to date information regarding waste reduction methods and inspires participants to be active in their communities as leaders in waste reduction, recycling and safe disposal of hazardous materials. Several additional grants have been submitted, and Adams-Clermont Solid Waste District has committed $3950 in matching funds toward this program.
